Kowny provides Email Hosting packages for customers who only want email hosting and not web hosting. Although our Star Packages and Pro Star Packages include both web and email hosting, these hosting packages provide higher specifications (Number of Email Accounts and MB of Space / inbox). Of course. We will provide you with settings that you need in order to setup your email accounts using any POP3 Mail Client. You can even setup to receive and send your emails using Gmail (Google Mail) or other free email providers that allow importing POP3 mail from other accounts.
Can I get more than 100MB per inbox?
Keep in mind that when using a Desktop Mail Client for retrieving and sending your, such as Outlook Express, Microsoft Outlook, Windows Mail, etc… your inbox is emptied on a regular basis. For that reason it may be safe to assume that 100MB should be sufficient. If However you desire a larger inbox / email account, that is also possible. Contact us and we will be glad to provide you with more information.
If I purchase a Regular or Super Email Hosting Package, can I upgrade at a later time?
Yes. If you realize that you need to upgrade to a larger Email Hosting Package at any point in time simply contact us and we will be glad to upgrade you for a special fee.
If I upgrade my Email Hosting Package, do I lose emails existing in any / all of my created accounts?
No you will not lose any emails if you decide to upgrade your Email Hosting Package. Your emails will be safe and sound as our upgrade will not delete or remove any of the emails or email accounts that you already have setup.
I am having problems setting up my Mail Client with the settings you have provided. How can I get help?
First of all, please make sure that you are correctly following the steps provided to you by Kowny for setting up your email accounts with a Mail Client. I need more email accounts than is provided in your Mega Email Hosting Package.
If you need more than 50 email accounts we can customize a special Email Hosting Package that is just right for you.
I have a domain name already that I did not purchase from Kowny. Can I still buy an Email Hosting Package?
Yes you can have your emails hosted at Kowny even if you purchased your domain name from somewhere else. In this case, we need to modify the MX-Record (Mail Exchange) settings that can be accessed by visiting the administrative control panel for your domain name at the website from which you purchased it.
